OUR STORY
Dontek Electronics Pty Ltd was established in October 1989 manufacturing solar controllers and by understanding market demands over the past 35 years, have become Australia’s most diverse manufacturer in their field.
Dontek specialises in designing and manufacturing and have adapted and grown to become the largest independent manufacturer of pool controllers in Australia as well as offering customised turn key solutions.
Dontek products are designed, engineered and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia to ensure quality and precision are front of mind from inception to use. We manufacture innovative solutions for over 30 companies within Australia and around the world comprising of over 120 models. We exceed the national standards for our products and strive to lead the industry into a better future.
Starting in the pool industry, Dontek has advanced into automatic pool control making the AQUATEK its flagship product to give users complete ease of use and control of their swimming pool and surrounds.
Dontek also create products for the hygiene and commercial cleaning industry providing state of the art technology within this field.

Dontek is regulated and approved by The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA). The APVMA is the Australian Government regulator of agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical products. The registration process involves scientifically evaluating the safety and efficiency of a product in order to protect the health and safety of people, animals, plants and the environment. Dontek is committed to making a difference within the Australian community and donates to Alzheimer’s Australia every month. This foundation supports families affected by dementia and is fighting against Alzheimer’s and supports the research that offers the best hope of defeating this disease.
Dontek also hosts Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event every year with all staff involved to raise as much money as possible for Cancer research. We here at Dontek consider these foundations integral organisations as Alzheimer’s and Cancer affects so many in the community.
